Ann Hudnall
Veterinary Assistant

Ann

Ann Hudnall joined the AFAH team as a Veterinary Assistant in August 2006. She came to us with years of veterinary hospital experience and education. Ann stumbled upon veterinary medicine simply as a “job out of college”, but ended up growing to love it. She enjoys it so much that she returned to college to obtain a license in veterinary technology.

This Northern Virginia native graduated in the class of 1999 from Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia. She then attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia where she earned her Bachelor's of Arts. Since then, Ann has worked in the field of veterinary medicine and enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at Northern Virginia Community College. She will obtain her license in Spring 2007.

Ann shares her home with her three cats, “the girls”. Ziggy, Charlie, and Fizzgig, are all female brown tabbies.

In her spare time, Ann enjoys spending time with her family and “the girls”. She gains a great deal of satisfaction from her job here at the animal hospital where she builds a connection with her furry patients. Ann has a talent for singing, and enjoys this activity above all others. She performs as a back up vocalist in a local band, Phil Rossi and the Bad Habit. On her days off, you will find Ann at the gym lifting weights or outdoors on a long walk. If she is not walking, you’ll find her driving or hiking - Ann prefers to be moving at all times!

As an employee, Ann is a real asset. She likes to stay busy, especially when it comes to looking after her patients’ comfort level and attending to their needs. Her attention to individual comfort and her desire to make our hospital the best are just a few of the many reasons we are very lucky to have Ann on our team!
